Publius Sempronius Sophus

Probably the son of P. Sempronius Sophus Sr, he was Consul in 268 BCE and celebrated a triumph over the Picentes, together with his fellow Consul, Appius Claudius. As Censor in 252 BCE, together with his colleague M. Valerius, he completed the census. As a result, 16 senators are stripped of their rank.
